Moi, le Beau et la Bete

As I wrote in “Pain should never be an excuse, but a tool for you to create with“, the confrontation with the catholic society in Lisbon when I’ve been in 2012, the fakeness of beings when I was even more fascinating by honesty of nature when I went through the Oneness series; the catholic based concepts of bad and good all misunderstood; the most inspiring people who were later on the most deceiving ones, all led me to an attempt of understanding the real world.

For so, I express it doing this series  “Moi, le Beau et la Bête“, inspired in the art movie “La Belle et la Bête” by Jean Cocteau, using multiple exposures of the Royal Palace in Lisbon and a decay warehouse showing the Portuguese society under my eyes. The different layers of the persons and of a society, which are as wrong as fake not even being conscious of that.

The “Moi, le Beau et la Bête” is not more than a recreation of the human duality of body and mind. Their own reflections on their own mirrors of their own believes.

Duality, illusion, dream. Contrast of real and unreal. Stories untold unseen to be. Tales of none and of some. In a timeless time. Magic scenery for non existing humans. With humans. Of memories and of visions. Of poetry, of sensual visual poetry. Of one. And of his own. To be.

A visual story of one’s poetry in a duality of a non existing personality. The one and the other. Oneness of two. In a monologue dance. Daring to co-exist. Challenging to be. Here.

And in your own mind.
